The size of BS8599 compliant first aid kit that you should purchase depends on the size of your workforce and the degree of risk associated with the work you undertake. The table below details the number of kits you will need to support different numbers of employees in low risk workplaces (eg. Offices, Shops) and high risk workplaces (eg. Engineering, Manufacturing, Food Processing and Construction). You should purchase sufficient kits to support all your employees
